BOOKING

You can book online using the Book Now button, or get in touch directly by phone or email and I'll sort it with you. If you're not sure what to book, just send me a message first.
If you're unsure, that's completely fine — just describe what you're hoping to achieve and I'll help you figure out the right appointment. Get in touch here.
A consultation is built into every appointment — we'll always start with a proper chat about what you want before I touch your hair. For more complex colour or extension work, I may suggest a separate consultation first.
I ask for as much notice as possible — please refer to the salon policies page for full details on my cancellation terms. Life happens, and I completely understand, but advance notice makes a big difference for a solo stylist.

COLOUR SERVICES

Yes — a patch test is required at least 48 hours before any colour service if you haven't had colour with me before, or if it's been a while since your last appointment. This is non-negotiable and exists to protect your health. I'll arrange this when you book.
It depends on your starting point and your goal. I'll always be honest with you about what's achievable in a single session — some colour transformations (especially going lighter) require multiple appointments to get there without compromising your hair's health. I'll never push you into something that isn't right for your hair.
Yes, always. We'll discuss your goal, your current hair condition, maintenance requirements and realistic timescales before we begin anything.
Absolutely — hormonal changes can affect hair texture, growth patterns and how colour takes. I've written about this in Notes from the Chair if you'd like to read more, and I'm always happy to discuss it at your appointment.

EXTENSIONS

Yes — I offer several types of hair extension. The right method depends on your hair type, condition and the result you're looking for. I'll always talk through the options thoroughly before recommending anything.
Extension pricing is tailored to each client, as it depends on the method chosen, the number of pieces required and your hair goals. Get in touch for a personalised quote.

BRIDAL HAIR

Yes — bridal and occasion hair is a service I love. I work closely with you to create something you feel completely yourself in, and I offer a trial in advance of your big day so there are no surprises.
As early as possible — I'd recommend getting in touch at least 6–12 months ahead, especially for peak summer dates. Bridal dates book up quickly.

THE SALON & PRICING

I'm based at Stable 8, Offley Hoo Farm, Hoo Lane, Great Offley, Hertfordshire SG5 3ED. There's parking on site at the farm. I welcome clients from across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
Prices for cuts and blow-dries are fixed. For colour, extensions and some treatments, the final cost depends on hair length, thickness and the finish required — I'll always give you a clear idea of cost before we begin, and I'll never charge you for something we haven't agreed.
